Was born in 1958 he earned his diploma in flute at the State Music School in Trieste. But his real soul is the piano which he plays in a very personal style supported by an incredible left hand acting as an electric bass. His interpretations of Boogie Woogie, Honky Tonk and Rock'n Roll are played in a genuine New Orleans style. On his feet the kick drum and hi-hat.
His performances abroad include: More Blues Festival (Belgium), New Orleans Heritage Jazz Fest (U.S.A.), Atlantis Jazz Fest (Swiss), Bellinzona Piazza Blues (Swiss), Locarno Euroblues Festival (Swiss), Antwerpen Blues Fest (Belgium), Tamins Blues Festival (Belgium), Manno Lugano Boogie Festival '02. Performances in Italy: Sanremo Blues, Ravenna Blues, Umbria Jazz '96/'99.

Mr. Boogieman, alias Stefano Franco, viene considerato, senza ombra di dubbio, uno tra i più forti specialisti di "piano boogie" a livello europeo!!!
